Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Former two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really going ahead.
