Several Detentions Carried Out Following Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein Pictures Displayed on Royal Castle

Four men were arrested after images featuring former President Donald Trump and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein were projected onto the historic castle on Tuesday, coinciding with the president’s visit in the United Kingdom.

Law Enforcement Response and Arrests

Thames Valley Police confirmed that the individuals were taken into custody on charges related to "malicious communications" after what they described as a "public stunt." The detainees comprised an individual in his sixties from Sussex, two London residents aged 36 and 50, and a 37-year-old from Kent.

The force added that officers responded swiftly to stop the display on the castle, where the president is scheduled to greet King Charles during his state visit.

Background of the Incident

Trump was associated with Epstein during the 1990s and early 2000s. To date, Trump has never been formally accused with any wrongdoing related to the deceased businessman.

This trip follows just days after the British ambassador to the US was dismissed due to his association with the convicted sex offender.

Wednesday morning, a vehicle was spotted in the town showing an image of Trump and Epstein along with the text: "Welcome to the UK, Donald."

Police Presence and Protest Plans

An extensive security detail has been deployed throughout the area, with over a thousand personnel assigned to monitor events in central London amid planned protests by activist groups.

At the same time, Trump and his wife will take part in a meal with members of the Royal Family, visit the tomb of the late queen, and give a address at a state banquet.

Demonstrators gathered in the town prior to the visit, emphasizing the divisive aspect of the trip.
